The Canadian National Master is an annual event celebrating the best that CKC Retriever Hunt Tests have to offer.  Each year a National Master Test is held in a different part of the country, attracting participants from across Canada, and the USA as well.  Please use the navigation buttons to learn more about the Canadian National Master club and our events.

We now have a Facebook page--you can visit us there for the latest news and updates!  CNMRC on Facebook

The 2021 National Master Hunt test organizing committee and the Canadian Master National Retriever Club Executives jointly agreed to cancel the 2021 event. The decision was taken back in April when the number of COVID 19 cases were peaking and vaccination was slowly starting across the country.  Safety of all is imperative, we did not feel people could travel nor enjoy the event under the current circumstances.

Qualifying master passes obtained between the closing date of the 2019 Master National and the closing date for the 2022 Master National will be eligible. Furthermore all dogs who qualified at the 2019 Canadian or 2019 American Master National or the 2021 American Master hunt tests will automatically be eligible.

The Club du Chien Rapporteur Saguenay Lac Saint-Jean is already at work preparing the event and is  looking forward to welcoming you for the 2022 Master National! The event will take place between August 14th and 20th (pending CKC approval).

Looking forward to seeing you in 2022!
